COMMUNITY

Project RightChoice is a student-run, community service oriented organization with the primary goal of raising funds and awareness for worthwhile causes, while simultaneously providing practical experience for the moral and ethical leaders of tomorrow. Under the advisement of academic, alumni, and community advisors, Project RightChoice works to unite the efforts of graduate and undergraduate students behind a singular cause in order to make a profound, positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate.

Annually, the members of Project RightChoice research and investigate the shortfalls and failures within their communities. From the countless deserving charities available, the members of Project RightChoice elect a cause and benefiting charity that reflects both their interests and the moral and ethical concerns of the day. On behalf of this charity, the members of Project RightChoice design and implement a year-long fundraising campaign while setting clearly defined organizational goals and objectives.

Raising money on behalf of a deserving charity is only half of Project RightChoice’s mission. In addition to its charitable purposes, Project RightChoice sets out to raise awareness regarding important social issues while simultaneously providing its members with practical business and educational experiences. The members of Project RightChoice are forced to confront the shortfalls in their communities, providing real world experience for the moral and ethical leaders of tomorrow.
